The Nebraska volleyball team got some good news when Hannah Werth, a 6-1 outside hitter from Chatham, Ill., told coach John Cook that she would join the Husker program in the fall of 2009 the Omaha World-Herald reported.

Werth will be one of the top seniors in the nation next year. She comes from an athletic family that includes her brother, Jayson, who is an outfielder with the Philadelphia Phillies.
